Los conductores cubiertos para redes compactas tipo A.A.C., A.C.S.R. y A.A.A.C. son cableados concéntricamente, y son construidos con alambres de aluminio, sobre el conductor metálico se aplica un primer recubrimiento de material semiconductor, posteriormente se aisla con una capa uniforme de polietileno reticulado (XLPE) o LDPE y una cubierta en XLPE o HDPE antitracking.
